THE KIMBERLEY EXPEDITIONS

Discover the Kimberley aboard the classic small ship Coral
Discoverer, or the brand new Coral Adventurer. Custom-built for environmentally responsible small-ship cruising, their refined steering capabilities, shallow draught, and nimble Xplorer tenders bring you closer to remote coastlines.
In true expedition style, the atmosphere is intimate and limited to a maximum of 120 guests. This enables a different cruise experience – relaxed, convivial, without queues, waiting, or assigned seating.
Expect one or two activities or excursions each day, all included in your cruise fare. Expedition Leaders and lecturers who are experts in the region accompany every voyage, providing interpretation on culture, geology, conservation, history, and the region’s unique plants and wildlife.

CITIZEN SCIENCE ON THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

Coral Expeditions have partnered with the Australian Geographic Society for a once-in-a-lifetime nature conservation experience on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. This special Citizen Science departure will explore some of the most remote edges of the outer reef, discover beautiful and complex habitats, and find sanctuary in the peaceful solitude of the Coral Sea.
Hosted by some of Australia’s most accomplished reef experts including Dr Dean Miller from the Australian Geographic Society, John Rumney, co-founder of GBR Legacy, and Dr Charlie Veron, widely known as the ‘Godfather of the Reef’, you will participate in real scientific research projects.
