Zambia Safari with Clare – Lower Zambezi & South Luangwa National Parks

3–12 May 2026 | Zambia Safari | AU$9,371 per person

Small group, personal hosting: minimum 6 – maximum 8 guests with Clare.

Safari first. Yoga if you feel like it.

Join Australian tour host Clare Sullivan — who also calls Zambia home — for a beautifully paced journey through two of Africa’s finest wildlife areas. Mornings and afternoons are classic safari: game drives, river safaris, walks and sundowners. Around that, Clare offers optional, mixed-level yoga designed for travellers — to stretch out hips, backs and shoulders after time in the vehicle, and to help you arrive more fully in the bush.

You don’t have to be “a yoga person” to join. You just have to love Africa.

Travel is as much about an inward journey as it is about an outward one.

Why this trip works

  • Two iconic parks: Lower Zambezi (river, elephants, boating) and South Luangwa (big cats, leopards, proper walking country).
  • Hosted by Clare: Australian, Zambian resident, 20+ years’ teaching experience, and deeply knowledgeable about the bush, culture and day-to-day life in Zambia.
  • Yoga is optional: Offered around the safari rhythm; join as often or as little as your body wants.
  • All the good bits included: Lovely lodges (Royal Zambezi + Kafunta), all meals, safari activities, internal flights, laundry.

Trip overview

You’ll start in Lusaka and fly into Lower Zambezi National Park for 4 nights on the river. Expect elephants on the banks, boating, canoeing, birding and classic game drives. Clare will usually offer a gentle yoga session after brunch, in the quiet middle of the day.

Then it’s on to South Luangwa for 4 nights — leopard country, fantastic guides, and a lodge that’s perfect for watching wildlife from camp. Sunrise and late-afternoon drives are the priority; yoga continues to be available for those who want it.
